JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting building materials/products to various worksite locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Safely operate box truck (3 & 5-ton) to transport material to designated worksite locations.
· Load and unload flooring products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
· Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
· Communicate effectively with warehouse regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
· Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
· Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong communications skills with ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
· Experience in commercial deliveries & route planning.
· Experience with power tailgate & pallet jack are considered an asset.
· Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of products safely and efficiently.
· Valid Class 5 license & clean driver’s abstract are required.
· Must be comfortable working/driving in various weather conditions.
