JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining an organized inventory. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy lifting and operating warehouse equipment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required to move products and materials within the warehouse.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all packages are correctly labeled and documented.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Utilize warehouse management systems & RF scanner to track inventory levels and manage stock.
- Collaborate with team members to build pallets and prepare products for shipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment such as forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and shipping/receiving procedures.
- Experience operating equipment such as forklift is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic computer skills for using warehouse management systems effectively.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety protocols in the workplace.
